Sabine Dubrovska
Aarhus-based artist Sabine Dubrovska reimagines the world around her through a lens of intentional distortion. With a background in textile design, tactility is the pulse of her practice. To transcend the static, she infuses her work with a sense of rhythm and motion through diverse analog techniques - from object scanning and sublimation to paper cuts and silk screens - which she then layers with digital traces.
By rejecting "visual correctness," Sabine creates a synthesis where physical foundations and digital layers interplay, resulting in signature contemporary prints that feel both familiar and beautifully "off."

"A piece needs to have life. I use analog techniques to build a raw, tactile feel, while the digital becomes my space for play. It is within the digital layer that motion and dynamics emerge, so the composition keeps challenging the eye and remains interesting."
